Community and Professional Service

Bill serves his community and his profession

Bill is involved in community service, having completed the Leadership Coppell program, been a volunteer judge in the Coppell Teen Court program for over eleven years, served on the Coppell High School Realignment Committee, and is currently a member of the Coppell Parks and Recreation Board.

He served as a director and secretary, vice president, and president of North Texas Taping and Radio for the Blind, Inc. (now named Reading and Radio Resources, Inc.) and as a director of The Girls’ Adventure Trails, Inc. and Family Legacy Missions International, Inc.

Bill has served the legal profession as a member of numerous professional organizations, including the State Bar of Texas’ Court Rules Committee, which helps revise the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure to meet changing needs, and on the Lawyer Advertising Review Committee, which ensures that lawyer advertising meets ethical standards.  He is a former chair of the Dallas Bar Association Antitrust and Trade Regulation Section and is the treasurer of the State Bar of Texas Antitrust and Business Litigation Council.
