A reason to run

On September 12, 2011, in Blog, by Bill

After nearly thirty years of handling complex commercial, intellectual property, antitrust, ERISA, and trusts and estates cases with the Gardere Wynne Sewell, LLP law firm, I am pursuing Place 2 on the Texas Fifth District Court of Appeals. This is an open seat created by Justice’s Morris’s retirement after more than twenty years on the bench. Serving Texas on the Court of Appeals has been a goal of mine since my days at the Robert H. Dedman SMU School of Law. I will bring sound judgment, common sense, hard work, integrity and principled analysis based on my three decades of private sector experience representing some of the nation’s largest businesses in multi-billion dollar disputes, small businesses in bet the company cases, and individuals in their personal matters. I look forward to getting to know you during the campaign and serving you on the Court of Appeals.
